More planning.
Reorganizing.
Many of us spend a lot of time in these activities.
I know I do.
Then we read in Proverbs 19:21.
“Many are the plans of a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
We need to remember that.
I need to remember that.
And humbly submit to his purposes – making them my purposes.
My family experienced an earth-shaking tragedy this week. All of our plans have been blown apart.
I am trusting that God will use this for his purposes and he will reveal those purposes as we faithfully continue to run the race for which we were called here on earth.
Life is very short. Let’s dedicate ourselves to loving God and loving others.
We love you, Abba Father.

I know that you are standing on the promise that the devastating and earth-shattering tragedies are not the final word. This world is so broken, and Jesus knows that more than anyone. You, too, know the brokenness more now than ever before, but you also know God’s strong hand holding you tightly more than ever too. My love to you, dear friend.
